Victoria Tretis – Director / Professional Wing-Woman / Coffee Lover

Victoria Tretis - Virtual Assistant Nottingham
My VA Rocks was launched in 2016 after I had gained over 15 years’ of ruddy AMAZING experience in leading executive assistant roles in the Midlands, Melbourne (Australia) and London.

Between 2007 and 2013 I worked at one of the world’s biggest banks and was based in Canary Wharf, London – initially as executive assistant to a key managing director.

After a few years, I moved into hedge fund administration as their office manager and global training coordinator with teams based in Hong Kong, Mumbai, Ireland, New York and London.

Then I bought a house up in Nottingham in 2012 and had one hell of a commute each week!

In a weird twist of fate, in early 2013, I found myself facing unexpected redundancy from the role I had so loved in London.

It took a while, but I eventually did stop crying, pulled on my big girl pants, and applied for every job going in the local area.

I soon realised that my heart was in the executive assistant world. So I decided to upgrade my drab spare room into a plush home office, and I’ve been enjoying a career as a kick-ass Virtual Assistant offering executive support ever since.
